The victim could call the necessary banks and financial institutions to cancel his cards before the thief could use them. The steps we have to take to safeguard our properties have become second nature to most us. Indeed, most us lock our cars, homes and offices automatically when not use. To be careless matters security is equivalent to putting out a sign that loudly proclaims: "My property is not protected, please rob me!" Those that have been negligent taking proper security measures to safeguard their property have only themselves to blame if they were to be robbed.
