Approach:
In a multiple-choice question, the correct option will match the meaning of the text but use different words. It is therefore important not to automatically assume that a multiple-choice option that contains words from the text is correct. Treat each option as a true or false task in order to find the option that is true.
It is also helpful to identify the type of question which is being asked about each text. Questions will ask about specific information (part of the text) or general ideas (the whole text). Identifying the question type will help you to find the information that you need.
Lengthier word essays may not accurately represent higher difficulty. But in most cases, this applies.
