Cloze Tests

Fill in the blanks exercise with a dynamic scoring system and timer to simulate a test. Keep trying until you get all the answers right.

Each gap is of equal value in the total score.
Every time you click on Check, if the answer is not completely correct, there is a penalty. You should complete the whole exercise before pressing the Check button; if you check each answer as you enter it, you will lose a lot of points.
Answers are case-sensitive. Make sure you capitalise your word correctly. Also, make sure your spelling is correct.
Some texts may require you to use a word from the word-list more than once.

When the timer runs out, your work so far will be scored, and the score displayed; after that, no further work on the exercise will be possible.
You can adjust your answers as many times as you want as long as you haven't run out of time.
It is possible to refresh the page to restart the timer, however, you will have to redo the exercise.
